Yes. Dr. Khalidha Nasiri is currently accepting new patients who do not have a family physician.

Patients who are currently rostered with another family doctor will be asked to de-enrol from their current physician before joining the practice.

We provide comprehensive family medicine care, including:
Preventive care and routine health maintenance
Women's health (menopause care, contraception, and more)
Newborn and prenatal care
Child and adolescent health
Chronic disease management (congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, chronic kidney disease, and more)
Mental health care
Geriatric and senior care
Preventive screening and immunizations
Coordination of care with specialists and other healthcare providers

What is a meet-and-greet appointment?

To become a patient, please contact our office to schedule a meet-and-greet appointment. This initial visit provides an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss your healthcare needs as you transition into the practice.

Please note that medical concerns are generally not addressed during the meet-and-greet appointment.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Prior to your first appointment, please complete the required Ocean eForms that will be sent to you.

If you are unable to complete the forms online due to limited access to technology, internet connectivity, language barriers, or other reasons, please let us know. We would be happy to provide paper copies when you arrive for your appointment. In this case, please plan to arrive 30-45 minutes early to allow sufficient time to complete the forms before your visit.

Please bring:
OHIP card
List of medications
Relevant medical records (if available)
Contact information for your previous healthcare providers

Do you offer same-day or urgent appointments?

Whenever possible, we strive to provide timely access for urgent medical concerns. Patients also have access to urgent care services available within Bowmanville Health Centre 7 days per week.
